find some branches and use them kinda like steps. if you cant get your like high enough put your arms around a closer branch, and pull yourself up and tuck your legs around a nice strong branch. It is likely that his kneecap is popping in and out of place. EXACT same thing only happened to me, except after the first time I was in unbearable pain. So I went to ER. They diagnosed it as a sprain and had me follow up with an orthopedic doctor a week later. He said ACL sprain and ordered an MRI to confirm it. The MRI confirmed that I had torn cartilage and not my ACL, it also showed bone bruising consistent with a dislocated kneecap. So I'd say have him stay off of it as much as possible and have him keep it straight. Really no point in buying an immobilizer if he's seeing the doc on Monday. If you already have one at your house, have him put it on. Elevate if ever possible to take swelling down. Not really much else you can do to help him. He can take up to four Tylenol or Advil instead of two. Four is equal to a prescription dose. Don't worry if it is kneecap issues it's not anything to be scared of. Very easily fixed with PT

Well I'm a female who doesn't think age is a problem, its the maturity level. So it doesn't matter (in my opinion) what the age is as long as it's a legal age (over 21). You just have to wait until the right one comes before, the one that is interested in you and not how old you are. If they like you, your personality, and whatever else there is to like about you then the last thing they will look at is how old you are. I mean I can respect someone who would not want to date someone who is the same age as there father or grandfather, but society has trained us to look at that, and to worry about what other people would say. So in my opinion just keep doing what you are doing and be honest and GOD will bring the one that fits you before you in due time just be patient. Good luck!

Question about medication withdrawal?

Is it easier to come off an anti-depressant if you're withdrawing from a low dose (say 75 mg) than if you were withdrawing from a high dose (say 300 mg)? I'm currently on Effexor XR and obviously I'll want to slowly be taken off of it rather than go cold turkey getting all kinds of weird and discomforting symptoms. I like where I'm at right now as far as dosage is concerned however I'm also taking Abilify 20 mg in conjunction with Effexor. I'd like to stay with what I have because I feel pretty good at 75 mg and I think 150 or higher would kind of beoverdoing it for me (why are there such huge jumps in the dosages?) Anyway that's my question(s), help is much appreciated and thanks for your time.

My baby son is 5 mths and 2 weeks old. He has ahd colic but it has gone thank god!!! My Zune is royally screwed up!?

Well, just now something weird happened to my new 4gig Zune. I was looking through my pictures, and when I exited that, the last picture i viewed remained as an imprint in my background! Like a transparent overlay. And now even when I deleted all of the pictures stored on it, it's still there! Even worse is that when I try to watch a video, I can't see the video! just the image that's leftover, even though I deleted it! What are some of the causes for gastroparesis other than diabetes?

Hi I'm 26 and today I was diagnosed with a stomach motility disorder called gastroparesis. I'm not exactly sure how severe it is telling from the gastric emptying test. It showed I had 24% of my food left over in my stomach during the scans over the course of 4 hours, whereas people with proper digestion would have had only 10% left. Now I'm wondering how my vagus nerve became damaged in the first place. I read that diabetes is the most common cause of the condition, but I'm wondering what other diseases I should have ruled out. I have also had biliary colic like pain in my rib and back and seemed as if I had something wrong with my gallbladder. I have one aunt with diabetes, and a family history of hypothyroidism and gallbladder disease.

My Dr. had me dismissed from the optifast diet because I had found the shake product for less money than where he wanted me to purchase it from. I was in the middle of my 4th month of full fast,he dumped me as his patient only to be reinstated if I were to purchase 30 days of optifast product from his source. Has this happened to anyone else? Does he have the right to do this to me? I was totally devastated. He suggested the diet to me for health reasons. I went elsewhere for the product to make it more affordable for me to continue with the diet. I wasn't even allowed to explain, he just had me dismissed from the diet. Is it not my right to find the product elsewhere especially if it's for less money? I would like to let others know that this physician obviously was not looking out for me, his patient, he was out for himself,(kickbacks maybe). My 96 honda may have a transmission problem?

Has <70,000 miles. Automatic. 3 months ago when I bought it, it drove great. Took it to a mechanic and he said I had at least 30,000 good miles left w transmission. Then after about a month, it started to jerk a little while changing gears (accel and decel). It has gotten worse and worse. I don't think it's revving too much though. Often when I'm driving down a hill, it actually slows down without me touching the break. When I make a turn at slow speeds, I have started to notice some clicking. I took it to a mechanic and he said I needed to flush transmission and change fluid. 125 bucks later the problem just seems worse - even jerkier shifting at the low speeds. In the last three months I've been to four mechanics, replaced a CV boot, serpentine belts, head cover gasket?, front muffler, and now I'm seriously starting to feel jerked around!? I'm going back to the mechanic. Or should I just go to someone else? Do you know what my problem might be???

We have a bouncer and I bounce him a lot. He's pretty spoiled by it. My mom says I'm bouncing him too hard, but he seems to only like only being noticeable bounced, not a little. His head bobs around a little, but not obsessively. She said she was holding him and he wobbled his head around and it was because I bounce him too hard. Can that really cause shaken baby syndrome? Now I'm worried, I never thought about that. Am I doing something wrong or is this ok?

Can a dental istant cement in a permanent crown?

I have been going to this dentist who lately doesn't seem to be in the office that much. This last visit was in order to have my temporary crown removed and have the permanent one put in. It turned out that he was out of town on vacation. The two dental istants in the office did the work with one permanently cementing it in. I live in the state of Florida, and I'm wondering if this was legal for a dental istant to do this. I am rather concerned as to whether it was adjusted properly. Also, I'm having some twinges in that area of my mouth but hoping they will settle down. Wondering if anyone knows for sure whether a dental istant is allowed to do this in Florida. I was plowed into by a car going at 40mph while I was wating for someone to turn right. The police report makes it clear this person was at fault+gave them a ticket! Also, I am injured. I am being told that I can't collect insurance from them unless the driver tells them it was his fault! Is this a joke? This was a young kid and I think he might have been impaired also. Does he have to say it was his fault when the police report is so clear?

When I went to the claims office for their inspection, the claims specialist informed me that since this is a wear & tear part on the vehicle they will figure out the life expectancy of the particular part and they will depreciate it accordingly. I don't pay a depreciated premium because my car is a 99 model...why do they get to depreciate things on it? Does this sound like normal practice?

15 points including two majors. I can tell you that with some of the less popular breeds it is very difficult in some regions to earn points and even harder to get majors, so the fact that they have not championed is not necessarily a totally negative thing. I looked breifly at show results over the last two months at infodog.com and if there were any chinese crested's entered, there were only one or two points available. Majors appear to be hard to come by in this particular breed. My concern would be if they are doing the appropriate genetic testing (not sure what they might be for this breed- maybe eyes and thyroid??) and if they offer a 2 year guarantee against genetic defects.

you don't need any plants at all to breed them, they will breed in almost any conditions. plants are greatly recommended though, because it gives the fry a place to hide after being birthed. if the fry have nowhere to hide then the parents will actually eat the babies!. live food does help to keep the fish in better health and can promote breeding. also turning the temps up in your tank a little will help with the development of the babies inside of mommy fish.

During WW2, why do they say 60 degrees sloped armor is the best angle for sloped armor on tanks such as T34?

I know the good properties sloped armor, deflection plus creating on a flat trajectory a greater depth to for the same thickness of metal. Is 60 degrees the ideal angle. I thought an even more shallow angle such as 30 or 45 degrees would be even better (Like the upper frontal sloped hull of the M1A1 Tank). Depends on the amount of hops used. IPA's were originally made because when the English would ship beer to India it would go bad on the 6 month boat trip so they found that hops acts as a preservative so the more you add the longer it will last (thus the term India Pale Ale). I've seen people keep them for over a year as long as there is no heat or drastic temperature change, no or little light and it stays sealed or pressurized.

Newark, Grantham, Stamford?

All, to be fair, clic English small towns, with not a great deal to attract you if you are looking for any degree of excitement. They are similar sizes, similar in ethnic make up (i.e. not terribly cosmopolitan) and while the countryside around them is quite pleasant, the towns themselves are OK but nothing hugely interesting. Grantham has frequently been described as 'the most boring town in England; and having spent a few days there on business I see no reason to disagree. Newark is a centre of the UK antiques trade, meaning that every other shop in town is an antiques place and there is a huge influx of antique dealers several times a year for the big fairs at the showground. Stamford of them all is probably the quaintest town, a few nice enough restaurants, closest to the nicer countryside around Rutland Water and has a brewery which makes amazing apricot beer.

Window A/C Units Average Cost a month?

Hi. I live in Maryland, and I recently moved into a 3 level townhouse that does not have the duel zone A/C unit. I have the Master Bedroom upstairs, but my roommate and her baby have the basement. It's only been a week and we are all already fighting over the temperature of the A/C. The other day she had it cranked up to 75 degrees because the basement gets so cold. My room in turn was boiling. I prefer it cooler, but can deal with warm rooms, but that was beyond what is comfortable. She doesn't do space heaters, so my only option now is for a window A/C unit. I wanted to know if anyone can give me a ballpark figure on how much that will add to our electric bill? I live in Maryland, so our summers can get hot and sticky. If she leaves the house set at 75, would our costs go up even more? I know it's hard to pinpoint the exact cost, but any ballpark figure would be extremely helpful.
