My laptop is connected to my HDTV and is making a high pitched noise?

so i connected my laptop to my TV for a larger display and now like really short sounds like the USB it makes crackling and when its not making any wanted sound its making a high pitched noise the laptops connected via HDMI cable. im not sure if its because of improper shielding on the cable its self
