My best friend is becoming so selfish!?

she has always been chatty and liked talking about herself bt now its at the point where if i want to tell her one thing she changes the subject back to her. i don't know what to do. im not the kind of person who would say to her "stop interruptin me, shut up and let me talk" but how can i do it very subtly ? thanks x
