I want to call my daughter Madeleine but pronounce "ma-de-lyn" not "ma-de-line" I thought about the spelling Madilynn, Madelyn, etc. but my friends told me that it will look very stupid and illiterate. What do you think? Which spelling do you prefer? I'm kind of stuck here. Thanks!
