Do I still need to apologise even though this man has now been found guilty in a British court of law?

The whole purpose of apologising was if this man was not found guilty and you umed that the JWs were wrong in trying to cover up his crimes. I do not see any need to apologise, since the man has been convicted and that was a condition for the apology to be made incase he was released.
