Since conservative talk radio has neutralized, do we still need the "Fairness Doctrine" reinstated?

The 2006 election and the recent presidential race has proven that the blowhards on conservative talk radio are simply not a factor.Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly makes a lot of noise but that is about all! That being said is there any reason to bring back the "Fairness Doctrine"? It was in place almost fifty years before the conservatives lead by Reagon vetoed it. Limbaugh, O Reilly and other conservative talking heads have found themslves as major failures with their one dimensional tax cut format. Their propaganda machines are large but transparency and a better educated populace have neutralized their impact!
